With Papa...

Personally, I have always detested visiting a zoo , for -watching large caged animals groaning in pain is a very unpleasant and traumatic experience.
So is keeping a pet parrot or a fancy aquarium in the drawing room. But this time, when forced by a chimpanzee lover to accompany her to one such place ….my equally tired eyes found a better diversion-  watching the gleeful kids!
Good Lord, it was  Sunday morning and  the poor little kid was  not  even spared from those gruesome tuitions ! . And the luggage- books, bag ,water, umbrella on the puny little shoulder.Oh yes!- a lovely pink frock and a matching hat.
Only respite, papa helped his princess take a break .And as I saw her….cringed against her papa while watching  a roaring lion.

Antiquity,
Quaintness,

End as it comes

Once
 green,
luxuriant.
now dry, brown,
yellow...leaves soaking in the rain.

One rainy afternoon

I sit by my window one lazy Sunday afternoon...far ,  far away from home , gazing at the raindrops bathing the sweet little flower which  stealthily  peeps  through the frosted glass  and  tries to overhear me.   I focus  the camera.........,  by then,  the pretty little thing is almost lost in a  dream-
